Web Designer

Job Description
We're looking for a Web Designer who will be responsible for design and implementation
of in-house web design initiatives. This includes, being a core member of the design team
for a totally new web experience for consumers to be entertained in their living room and
stay connected socially with remote friends and family.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in the design and architecture for this experience
• Implementation of the design
• Responsible for page layout and creative design
• Responsible for project timelines and working as a team on web project completions

Applicants must have a strong background with the following:
• Passion for web design
• 3+ years directly related experience in web design
• Strong creative and design skills
• Experience in producing and presenting rich media content
• High competency in Photoshop, Illustrator and web-related production tools
• Strong experience with PHP 5, Java script, HTML
• Knowledge of SQL and database interface programming
• Strong experience in designing content under tight deadlines
• Experience in working with marketing creatives (emails, banners, pop-ups, etc.)
• Work with software developers to translate prototypes into professional web-pages with
crisp colors, attractive layouts, easy navigation and small size for quick page loading
• Excellent project-management and time-management skills
• Design of web sites that attract and hold visitors
